From the sights to the sounds to the sheer volume of people, Times Square was a stimulating experience. Maybe as I age I am less tolerant of commotion, but I had a heck of a time with my attention here.
In retrospect, these sign shots would have been great with my fish eye, but I was afraid to take my gear out here. There were so many people, I was afraid that I would lose something. You think the heat would have kept them inside ;)
I love the Broadway street sign and all the marquees in the background on this one! Next time we go to NYC, we will definitely take in a show. This trip was more relaxed though, and we just moseyed around where we wanted when we wanted.
Elvis was not excited to have his picture taken. In fact, he threw his arm up to cover his face. Only later did I learn that the folks dressed up in character want reimbursed for having their photos taken!
