Fire

We have a large, rock fire pit at the top of our hill. (Courtesy of much hard labor and sweat from my husband!) On summer and fall nights, we often sit around the fire chatting! I love watching the fire creep around and lick the edges of the wood, the blue and orange colors constantly change, and the bright coals burn ferociously. Its interesting how even now in modern times, people still congregate around fire.

Brenda asked for my settings. These were taken with my 50mm f/1.8 lens.

Settings for #1:  f/1.8; SS 1/100sec; ISO 320; Spot Metering; AWB.
Settings for #2:  f/5; SS 1/160sec; ISO 2500; Spot Metering; AWB
Settings for #3:  f/3.5; SS 1/80sec; ISO 2500; Spot Metering; AWB

Thanks again for looking!
