Once in awhile I get a craving for halushki. My Mom always made it with homemade noodles, and to this day, that's the only way I'll eat it. If someone makes it with egg noodles, I tend not to eat it at all. Anyway, one of my former patients told me that instead of homemade noodles, she made homemade potato dumplings. She was kind enough to share her recipe, which I used tonight for dinner :) These dumplings add so much flavor. The halushki was delicious and the perfect compliment to the kielbasa.
